Terms of Use — LumaWalls

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using LumaWalls, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and do not use it.

2. Description of the App

LumaWalls is a wallpaper browsing and download application. All wallpapers are curated and uploaded by the LumaWalls team — there is no user-upload functionality. No account is required to use the app.

3. License

LumaWalls grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, redistribute, or resell wallpapers outside of personal use
  • Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the app
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content
  • Remove watermarks, metadata, or attribution from wallpapers

4. Pro Subscription

LumaWalls offers an optional Pro subscription that unlocks premium wallpapers, automatic wallpaper rotation (Android), home screen widgets, and Google Drive backup for favourites.

Subscriptions are available in monthly and yearly plans. Payment is charged through your App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's subscription settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.

5. Content, Trademarks & Third-Party IP

LumaWalls is a fan-made, non-commercial wallpaper application. Some wallpapers may feature characters, logos, or imagery associated with third-party intellectual properties (including but not limited to franchises such as Formula 1, Pokémon, or various anime series).

All trademarks, characters, brand names, and logos featured in such wallpapers are the exclusive property of their respective rights holders. LumaWalls is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these rights holders. No ownership of third-party intellectual property is claimed.

Such wallpapers are made available solely for personal, non-commercial use by fans. LumaWalls does not sell or licence these images. No revenue is derived specifically from the display of any identified third-party intellectual property.

6. Copyright Takedown

LumaWalls respects intellectual property rights and will respond promptly to valid takedown requests.

If you are a rights holder (or authorised representative) and believe that content in LumaWalls infringes your copyright or trademark, please send a written notice to support@lumawalls.com including:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Identification of the protected work you claim is being infringed
  • Identification of the infringing content (wallpaper title or screenshot)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will review and remove the relevant content as quickly as possible, typically within 72 hours.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use LumaWalls to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or infrastructure
  • Interfere with the app's normal operation
  • Circumvent in-app purchase mechanisms

8. Advertising

The free version of LumaWalls displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ad personalisation is subject to the consent you provide via the GDPR consent dialogue on first launch. Pro subscribers do not see ads.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

LumaWalls is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, free of errors, or that wallpapers will be of a particular quality or resolution on your specific device.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Théo Vankoekelberg and LumaWalls shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including data loss or loss of profits.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be made available within the app. Continued use of LumaWalls after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
